Nobody opens a shop to get a loan.

You opened it because you wanted to own your own time, put your name on something, and hand your kids more than you started with. The loan is just a tool you pick up along the way. So we start with what you are building and work backward to the money — never the other way around.

Who we are here for

Main street, not Wall Street.

We are not chasing venture-backed startups. We work with the shop with one truck and two employees, the second-generation restaurant, the machine shop that just landed a contract bigger than its capacity. If you have ever made payroll out of your own savings, we already understand your business.

More than a loan. It is the thing you gave up weekends for.
Trinathen Business Capital

How this goes

Four conversations, not forty forms.

You are assigned one advisor and you keep that advisor the whole way through. No handoffs to a call center, no getting re-explained to a stranger every Tuesday.

  1. 01 · Talk

    Tell us the plan

What are you trying to do, by when, and what happens to the business if it works. Fifteen minutes on the phone, no documents yet.

  2. 02 · Look

    Honest read

Your advisor tells you what is realistic before you spend a day gathering paperwork. Sometimes the honest answer is wait ninety days.

  3. 03 · Place

    Take it to the desk

We package the file properly and put it in front of the sources that actually fund your kind of business.

  4. 04 · Compare

    You decide

You see what came back, what it costs, and what it obligates you to. In writing, in plain English, before you sign.

What we will not do

No surprises, no games.

  • Shop your file to twenty desks and wreck your credit
  • Bury the real cost in a factor rate you have to decode
  • Push a product because it pays us better
  • Tell you yes to keep you on the phone
  • Ask for money up front to look at your file

What you can count on

Straight answers.

  • One advisor who knows your file by name
  • The real cost, written out, before you commit
  • A clear no when it is a no, and why
  • How we get paid, said out loud
  • Your documents handled like they are yours

Questions people actually ask.

Do I need perfect credit?

No. Credit matters, but it is one input among several. Time in business, revenue, deposits, the industry, and what the money is for all weigh in. Some programs are built specifically for owners who cannot get a conventional bank yes. Tell us where you actually stand and we will work from the truth.

How long have I needed to be in business?

It depends entirely on the product. Some working capital and equipment programs will look at a business under two years old. Most commercial real estate and SBA paths want more history. If you are early, say so on the first call and we will tell you what is realistic now versus what to prepare for.

What does it cost to talk to you?

Nothing, and we never ask for an application fee to review your file. When a placement closes we are typically paid by the funding source. On some products that compensation can affect your rate, and we will tell you how we are paid on your specific file before you sign anything.

Will this show up on my personal credit?

Sometimes. Many commercial products require a personal guarantee and a personal credit pull, especially for smaller and newer businesses. We will tell you before anyone pulls anything, and we do not scatter your file across a dozen lenders to see what sticks.

Are you the one lending the money?

No. Trinathen Business Capital is not a bank and does not make credit decisions. We are the people who understand your business, package it properly, and take it to the funding sources we work with. The lender approves and funds.

Can you help with my house too?

Yes, but through the right company. Residential mortgage financing goes through our sibling company Trinathen Lending LLC, NMLS #2783720. Business capital and home loans are different products under different rules, and we keep them separate on purpose.

Your dream starts here

Tell us what you are building.

A real person reads this, usually the same day, and calls you back. Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, tax returns, or other sensitive documents through this form. We will give you a secure way to send documents when it is time.

One company behind all of it.

The fine print, said plainly.

We are not a bank. Trinathen Business Capital LLC is not a bank or depository institution and does not take deposits. We are a commercial finance intermediary. We help you understand your options and we take your file to the funding sources we work with. We do not make the credit decision.

Nothing here is an approval. This website is not an offer, an approval, or a commitment to provide financing. Availability, amount, pricing, collateral, personal guarantees, documentation and repayment terms are determined by the funding source based on your business and your transaction.

Business purpose only. These are commercial financing products for business purposes. They are not consumer loans and not residential mortgages, and they do not carry consumer mortgage protections. Residential mortgage financing is handled by our sibling company, Trinathen Lending LLC.

How we are paid. When a placement closes, we are typically compensated by the funding source, and in some cases that compensation can affect the rate or terms you are offered. Ask us and we will tell you how we are paid on your specific file before you sign anything.

SBA figures. Program maximums cited on this site come from the U.S. Small Business Administration: 7(a) loans (sba.gov/funding-programs/loans/7a-loans), 504 loans (sba.gov/funding-programs/loans/504-loans), and microloans (sba.gov/funding-programs/loans/microloans). SBA loans are made by participating lenders, not by the SBA and not by us. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with the SBA.

Equal opportunity. We work with every qualified business owner. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age, disability, familial status, or because any part of your income comes from a public assistance program.
